The creation of the Soho Square Capital Advisory Board further enriches the firm’s expertise to support ambitious growth plans
1 April 2025: Soho Square Capital LLP (“Soho Square”), an investment firm focused on financing established and growing UK and Northern European SMEs, is delighted to announce the appointments of Keith Morgan CBE and Saul Nathan to its newly formed Advisory Board. Keith and Saul will provide strategic, investment and corporate counsel to Soho Square as it pursues its ambitious growth plans and strengthens its asset management capabilities.
Keith has extensive investment, banking and asset finance experience at the highest level. Most notably, he was the founding CEO of British Business Bank plc, the UK’s economic development bank for business, and an Executive Director of UKFI, the body responsible for managing the government's shareholdings in the nationalised banks. He joined UKFI from Banco Santander where he was an Executive Director of its US business and was previously a member of the Executive Committee of Abbey National in the UK.
With deep knowledge of growth finance and private debt, Keith has over 15 years of experience as a Non-executive Director, including many years on Board Risk, Audit and Remuneration Committees. He is currently Non-executive Chair of ThinCats Group Ltd, a lender to medium-sized businesses, a non-executive Director & Chair of the Board Risk Committee for JP Morgan Europe Ltd and a Non-executive Director of UK Asset Resolution Ltd.
Saul has 37 years’ experience in global financial services as a trusted, strategic advisor, leader and mentor, with an extensive network across the private equity industry. Whilst at Morgan Stanley in London, New York and Tokyo over a thirty-year period, Saul rose to the position of Chairman of its Capital Markets and Financial Sponsor Group and was a member of the bank’s European Management Committee and Global Capital Markets Operating Committee.
With current and active roles with Strategic Value Partners (member of Advisory Council), and as an active investor and advisor to 20+ entrepreneur led disruptive businesses, Saul has substantial financial, investment and board member expertise.
